News: Round Rock PD closes I-35 due to vehicle crash 

ROUND ROCK, TX – Round Rock police shut down a portion of the 16000th block of southbound I-35 for less than an hour on Wednesday due to an afternoon vehicle crash.

Officers are responding to a multi-vehicle collision in the 16000 block of southbound I-35 across from Rooms To Go. Traffic is reduced to one lane. Please expect delays and consider alternate routes. pic.twitter.com/KqbSVAMTnP

Police first announced the crash at 1:36 p.m. and shut down a majority of the interstate, leaving one lane open to accommodate the flow of traffic. Officers and transportation crews reopened all lanes by 2:15 p.m.

Officials have not disclosed how the collision unfolded, listed the number of people and vehicles involved, or said whether anyone was injured.
