News: Round Rock Police close IH 35 due to injury wreck

ROUND ROCK, TX – Round Rock Police had to temporarily shut down IH 35 Highway South due to a Thursday night crash that left at least one person injured.

Officers are on scene of a traffic collision with injuries on IH 35 southbound proper just south of Louis Henna/SH 45. All southbound lanes on the proper are closed. Please expect delays and seek alternate routes. pic.twitter.com/Op6C3yDE6w

Officers said the collision happened south of Louis Henna Boulevard. Closures were first announced at 11 p.m. and ended after 11:30 p.m.

Police are working to pinpoint the details behind the crash. At this time, officers have not commented on the extent of injuries sustained or listed the number of people and vehicles involved.
