SOUTH AUSTIN, TX – One person died after a shooting that took place near the Mary Moore Searight Metropolitan Park Monday.
According to CBS Austin, Austin Police responded to the occurrence after 9 p.m. in the area of South Interstate 35 Frontage Road and East Slaughter Lane.
A potential suspect was detained while medics transported the injured occupant to a hospital, where the person later lost their life.
Police have not shared additional information regarding Monday’s fatal accident.
