AUSTIN, TX – At least one person was seriously injured following a single-vehicle crash in south Austin on Thursday morning.
According to a report by Austin – Travis County EMS, the crash happened in the 4500 block of West Slaughter Lane, just east of the Mopac Expressway at about 10 a.m.

The cause of the crash is not mentioned in the report. However, one person was pinned inside their vehicle as a result.
The victim was extricated and transported to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.
