News: Solo crash in Highland claims man’s life, APD says 

AUSTIN, TX – As of Thursday, Dec. 12, Austin Police have confirmed that a 34-year-old man died after a solo collision in the Highland area last Wednesday, Dec. 4.

Officers identified the man as Samuel J. Rodriguez Jr., a Hispanic man. Police said this crash took place before 11:30 p.m. in the 500th block of East Koenig Lane. They stated that Rodriguez passed away at the scene but did not state the events that led to this wreck or if he was the sole occupant of his vehicle. 

The Austin Police Department began an investigation but said details are in the works.
