SOUTH AUSTIN, TX – Austin police are currently searching for the suspect in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a dog and injured a pedestrian in October.
Fox7Austin said the collision happened around 8 p.m. on Oct. 23 on the 1600th block of West Ben White Boulevard.
The suspect, who was believed to have driven a pickup truck, did not render aid and immediately fled the scene.
Austin police believe the suspect was operating a two-door blue or black Chevy pickup truck.
The public is encouraged to contact the police immediately if they have any more information on the hit-and-run crash.
