NORTHEAST AUSTIN, TX – A 16-year-old teenager’s life was claimed in a pedestrian-vehicle crash in Northeast Austin last week.
According to CBS Austin, the 16-year-old was struck by a vehicle while walking in the area of Dessau Road and Shropshire Boulevard. This collision occurred before 6 p.m. and warranted a response from police and EMS.
After arriving, an ambulance rushed the teenager to a hospital, where he later died on Saturday, April 4.
Police confirmed the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
