KYLE, TX – A 15-year-old teenager and one child were injured in a pedestrian crash that occurred near Chapa Middle School on Thursday.
The collision happened around 6:30 a.m. on the 3300th block of Darcy Lane. The teenager was helping their younger sibling cross the street when both were struck by a vehicle, Fox7Austin reports.
EMS crews transported the two children to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Kyle police said a crossing guard was on duty, holding up a stop sign when the crash occurred.
Police did not say if the driver would be facing charges.
