News: Three-vehicle crash near Austin’s Falconhead Park claims one life, seriously injures another

AUSTIN, TX – The person involved in Thursday’s crash near Falconhead West Primitive Park was pronounced dead, according to ATCEMS

The collision happened around 1:30 pm at the 17200 block of W State Highway 71. More details about Thursday’s crash indicate that it was a three-vehicle crash. 

One person was pinned and extricated by medics. One was hospitalized at St. David’s South Austin Medical Center for serious injuries. 

Another person involved in the crash declined transportation to the hospital. Their current condition is unknown. 

One person died from their injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Officials are investigating the contributing factors of Thursday’s crash. No further information is available.
