BASTROP, TX – A fatal crash was reported on FM 2336 Tuesday night, FOX 7 Austin revealed.
The collision occurred before 10 p.m. For reasons unclear, a driver of a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck drove over into opposite lanes and collided with a Jeep Wrangler.
Two passengers from the Jeep Wrangler, a 10-year-old child, and a 15-year-old teenager, were taken to a hospital for unspecified injuries.
It is uncertain if the driver of the Silverado was hurt.
Officials identified the Jeep Wrangler driver as 24-year-old Esther Lopez Sosa.
Sosa gave in to injuries and died at the scene.
