News Update: 1 hurt when driver fails to yield, causes Leander crash 

LEANDER, TX – Leander Police confirmed that at least one person suffered minor injuries after a driver failed to yield to on-coming traffic and caused a multi-auto wreck Thursday. 

New details from officers indicate that after 12:15 p.m., the motorist was exiting a private driveway along southbound U.S. 183 and Sonny Drive and collided with at least one automobile, leading to this collision.

Police shut down the southbound lanes for the scene clearance procedure and their investigation. They confirmed that they cited the driver, who backed out of the driveway, for failing to yield the right of way.
