News UPDATE: 1 killed in 3-vehicle crash on U.S. 290

AUSTIN, TX – Officials have confirmed more information regarding Monday’s fatal collision on the 8600 block of West U.S. 290 Highway. 

ATCEMS responded to the three-vehicle crash around 2:30 p.m. Four were seriously injured in the collision. Two were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center, while two others were transported to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center. Their current conditions are unknown.

One person succumbed to fatal injuries. 

Officials did not release the name of the occupants involved in Monday’s crash or specify the exact cause of the wreck. Additional information will be posted as more details surface.
