News Update: 2 hospitalized after South Austin crash with extrication 

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX – Austin Travis County EMS confirmed they transported two people to a hospital following a Friday night crash with extrication near St. Edward’s University.

To recap, this collision took place before 9 p.m. on the 100th block of Ben White Boulevard. Austin Fire crews conducted the extrication. Once that was complete, ambulance personnel then took one occupant to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center and the other to Dell Seton Medical Center. 

Authorities said the patients were going to receive treatment for non-life-threatening wounds.
