News Update: APD confirms fatality after Montopolis crash 

AUSTIN, TX – Austin Police have revealed that one person died two days after a crash on the 200 block of Bastrop Highway in the Montopolis district and have also shared the victim’s name.

This collision took place before 2:30 a.m. Saturday, June 3, according to CBS Austin. Based on a preliminary report, police speculated that the driver, 28-year-old Angelica Delgado, was driving north on the Highway when she collided with a wall.

Delgado was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center for serious, non-life-threatening injuries. Her condition worsened, and she was pronounced dead on Monday, June 5th.
