AUSTIN, TX – Austin police confirmed it was a 63-year-old woman named Mendi Leggett who lost her life after a Sunday afternoon crash in Lost Creek.
To recap, the collision happened before 2:45 p.m. in the 1100th block of Lost Creek Boulevard near the South Capital of Texas Highway. Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services conducted CPR on Leggett. Despite their best efforts, she died at the scene.
The two surviving occupants were transported to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center. At this time, they are in critical condition.
The three occupants of one vehicle were unharmed.
Austin Police confirmed impairment was not a contributing factor in the wreck.
