AUSTIN, TX – Austin Police have identified the name of the person who was killed in a deadly crash that happened on Sunday.
This comes as an update in connection to the story we first covered on Monday, June 15. Police said it was 70-year-old Randy Lee Labaff, who died as a result of a single-vehicle crash off Bastrop Highway Service Road and Montopolis Drive.
Police have not said what caused the crash, but said Labaff was initially in critical condition and given CPR by Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services.
ATCEMS rushed Labaff to St. David’s South Austin Hospital, where he later died.
No other occupants were said to have been involved.
