SOUTHEAST AUSTIN, TX – Austin Police confirmed it was a 30-year-old woman who died in a pedestrian-vehicle collision in Southeast Austin on Friday.
KVUE said Jada Martin was walking on the 2100th block of East Ben White Boulevard when she was hit by a vehicle.
Police responded to the scene around 6:30 a.m. and declared Martin dead at the scene.
Police said the driver and their passenger sustained minor injuries. Police confirmed the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with detectives.
Impairment was not a contributing factor in this pedestrian-vehicle collision.
