NEWS UPDATE: Driver hospitalized after crashing into two Pflugerville businesses 

PFLUGERVILLE, TX – A driver had to go to a hospital after crashing his vehicle into two Pflugerville businesses on Wednesday. 

According to an update from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office and a KVUE report, the driver of the vehicle swerved in an attempt to avoid crashing into a pedestrian and plowed straight into the establishment. 

Deputies later confirmed the driver was operating a pickup truck. The collision occurred off the intersection of FM 1825 and Demaret Street. Authorities initially said the driver crashed into only one business, but later confirmed it was two. Officials did not disclose the name of the business but said the driver plowed into an outdoor seating area and game room. 

The truck driver was spared from serious injuries, and no one inside the place of business appeared to have been injured. 

Deputies did not say if they cited the pickup truck driver.
