AUSTIN, TX – According to a KXAN update, Austin Police have identified the person who was killed in a Valentine’s Day crash that involved a semi-truck.
Police said 23-year-old Xochitl Garcia Ramos succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
The crash occurred before 4:30 a.m. on Saturday on the 13200 block of South Interstate 35 near FM 1327.
It’s unclear whether Ramos was the car driver or passenger.
The truck driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
Police are working to determine the cause of the collision.
