NORTHEAST AUSTIN, TX – As of Tuesday, Austin Police confirmed that a 34-year-old woman, who was left in critical condition after a Windsor Hills crash on Nov. 6, died a few weeks later.
Police identified the woman as Marianne Ashley Agusto, according to an updated article from CBS Austin.
To recap, the two-vehicle collision occurred before 8:15 p.m. at the intersection of Collinwood West Drive and Dessau Road and left Agusto pinned inside her vehicle. After fire crews successfully extricated Agusto, ambulance personnel then rushed her to Dell Seton Medical Center. There, she officially succumbed to fatal wounds before Thanksgiving day on Saturday, Nov. 23.
The other driver, who survived, remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. No pending criminal charges appear to have been filed against this motorist.
