DOWNTOWN AUSTIN, TX – Austin first responders were called to a reported vehicle fire that occurred near the Austin Convention Center before 2 p.m. Tuesday.
As shown on the active fire incident page, the vehicle fire took place at the S IH 35 Frontage Road and East Cesar Chavez Street junction. Fire crews are working on extinguishing the flames and have not yet revealed whether the fire was caused by a crash or due to mechanical issues.
At this time, there are no indications of suffered wounds.
