News: Woman, 91, loses life after crash with light pole in NE Austin 

NORTHEAST AUSTIN, TX – A 91-year-old woman succumbed to fatal injuries one day after her driver slammed their car into a light pole on Wednesday, April 10th. 

CBS Austin said this solo-vehicle collision happened before 7:45 p.m. in the 2200 block of Forbes Drive. 

Upon arrival, first responders rushed the 91-year-old woman — Carolina Lopez — to a hospital, where she succumbed to fatal wounds, while her driver sustained minor wounds.

Officials have not released additional details surrounding this crash. Still, updates will be posted should they become available.
