News: Woman killed in Pflugerville car vs. tractor-trailer crash 

PFLUGERVILLE, TX – A woman driving a Honda passenger car on SH 130 South passed away when she struck a tractor-trailer Thursday. 

CBS Austin said this crash happened before 2:15 p.m. near Cameron Road. Officials declared the woman dead at the scene (whose name was not released) and said the truck driver was unscathed. 

Following the collision, police and crews shut down the southbound lanes to accommodate the scene clearance and for investigation. 

Authorities said they are still investigating the events leading up to the collision and do not have many available details at this time. However, what they can confirm is that for reasons unclear, the woman drifted off the road and went into a grassy median before returning to the road.
