AUSTIN, TX – A woman was killed in a pedestrian collision at a south Austin intersection on Christmas Eve, KXAN reports.
According to the Austin Police Department, the accident occurred at West Slaughter Lane and Francia Trail around 8:14 pm. The female pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not yet been released.
Police say the driver remained on the scene and showed no signs of impairment.
The accident remains under investigation.
