AUSTIN, TX – The woman who allegedly caused a fatal multi-vehicle collision on South Highway 183 on Sunday has been charged with intoxication manslaughter, KXAN reports.
According to authorities, the collision occurred near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport around 9:30 am. It involved at least three vehicles.
A 60 year-old-woman was killed, and another person was transported to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries. Austin Police Department charged a woman with intoxication manslaughter hours later.
